Sandcasting Course

NBLC is running a Sandcasting Course on Saturday 19th October!

“Sand casting involves the pouring of molten metal into a cavity-shaped sand mould where it solidifies. The mould is made of sand particles held together with an inorganic binding agent. After the metal has cooled to room temperature, the sand mould is broken open to remove the casting.”

Come along and learn how to make wonderful silver objects using this method!

Course Information:

• Date: Saturday 19th October 2024
• Time: 10am to 3pm
• Spaces available: 6 students
• Bring your own lunch (fridge/kitchen will be accessible as per usual).
• Instructors: Kerry Darton and Debbie Harman.

• Course Cost: $40.00
• Materials Cost: $78.00 (Covers 30gms Sterling Silver and Sapphires)
• TOTAL COST: $118.00
